Is multilingual SEO still worth the investment, or is AI making it less important?

Good day, everyone!

I've been seeing more discussions about AI translation and multilingual websites lately, and it got me thinking AI is breaking down language barriers faster than ever, yet many businesses still spend heavily on multilingual SEO.

Is multilingual SEO still worth the investment, or are we holding on to an outdated strategy?Curious to hear what everyone thinks based on their own projects.

It's still worth it if the market is actually valuable.

AI makes translation much easier, but localized keywords, search intent, and content quality still matter. I wouldn't rely on direct AI translation alone.

Multilingual SEO is still worth it.

AI can translate content, but it cannot replace localization. people in different countries search using different keywords, different phrasing, and different search habits. translated content reads fine but often misses what real people actually type into Google.

AI is a great tool for producing translated content fast. It's not a replacement for actual multilingual SEO strategy. If you want to rank well in different countries, you still need proper keyword research and cultural adaptation for each market.

I agree. AI can translate content, but it doesn't always understand local search behavior and cultural context. Multilingual SEO still needs proper keyword research and localization to reach the right audience.

definitely still worth it imo. ai makes translation cheaper, but local keyword intent, phrasing nd cultural context are where the real seo work still matters.

Multilingual SEO is worth it but it depends on what languages you use. For example Spanish is a more prevalent language than Turkish for example.

exactly, cultural context is the part translation alone always misses
