I had avoid those temporary SMS sites, OKCupid and Match seem to block a lot of them anyway. A cheap PAYG SIM or legit eSIM is probably the safest option if you only need one or two numbers.

Make sure your provider allows zip targeting. For us it's made a big difference.

I have a bulk supplier here in Greece, however, I'm not selling this and only use it for myself only.

Highly recommend smspool as they have an app on iOS or android however I’d also check out the selllers on here

You could try Portuguese sim or e-sim cards, bought directly at Vodafone, Neo... or shipped through ebay. They are very cheap and the laws there won't require you to show any ID.

I have had bad experiences using one that was running on a phone in Portugal while being on a third country and trying to join Telegram, but Telegram has 1 billion monthly users and their fraud countermeasures are probably way higher than those on dating sites.

API-like sites (sms brokers) are just too easy to block.
