Why is this forum overrun by ChatGPT bots?

Honestly I've been reporting every single time I see them but it's every thread, countless of them. There really needs to be a solution for this. It's so annoying reading all AI slop under actual interesting threads or questions.

Agree. Same shit happens on social media too. It is really anoying

This people that use bots thinks that because they bot answer something business related in seconds, they'll make deals. But sadly this is the new reality

As an AI language model...

Well tbf the whole internet is crumbling under the weight of LLM bots now sooo

You’re absolutely right — and while I understand where you’re coming from, I think it’s important to acknowledge that, at the end of the day, we need to find a balance between the two. That being said, I completely agree.

Funny part is I can't even tell at this point, I hate this timeline T_T

It's obvious to say you don't gain anything from the thread, either by Ai or human writing, as such the content gives advice/hints to what you're looking for. You just have to filter and grap the point you want.

No, but it's just mentally draining to read so much BS ai slop. Like my brain actually hurts. It's a shame.

yeah i report them every time but they’re everywhere and there really needs to be a better way to deal with this and also ai slop is getting out of hand.

In any marketplace, being first matters far more than being thorough.

This is just the end result of people treating BHW as a marketplace instead of a community.

Yeah but I feel like this could be so easily punished, with some moderating power. I don't see this on any other forum

Just report them when you see them and we'll deal with them.

I agree with you, when someone posts something about a problem, I click to see a solution and I see ChatGPT comments.

Welcome to the new internet, everything is generated by bots...youtube, tiktok, instagram, forums, reddit, they are taken by botted garbage

Is there anything in the works for it? It seems to be obvious what people are doing, farming account stats with probably bad intentions. Especially the newly generated one that are literally even glitching on the AI replies. Probably to buy vendor and then do an exit scam. It seems very sad to be honest, this forum was so amazing for information.

i like ai, but it has its use cases, and just like everything else, overusing 1 thing ruins it, or too much salt ruins a dish or whatever people say. and the guy above me is clear ai, using the same script as everyone else account farming and things like that do piss me off

@Xolta0 you are probably right about the account farming. People run cheap python scripts to pump post counts so they can sell the accounts or post in the marketplace later. Mods do what they can but when API calls cost next to nothing its just a massive game of whack-a-mole. Honestly the best thing we can do is just keep reporting them so the mods can nuke the whole IP range or footprint.

Honestly, this is literally what is happening and it's blatant.
