Whats your experience of monetizing travel agency/travel site?

Travel websites can still make good money, but it usually takes time because the niche is very competitive. Most successful travel sites earn through affiliate bookings, ads, sponsored posts, and lead generation for tour packages or hotels. SEO and social media play a huge role since people search for travel guides and destination tips daily. The key is building trust with unique content instead of copying common travel articles.

Hi cockus -

Along with above suggestion (used by 99% companies) - focus on automating your business like
  • CRM & Pipeline Management
  • WhatsApp, SMS & Email Automation
  • AI Chatbot & Instant Lead Response
  • Appointment & Booking Automation
  • Review & Reputation Automation
Not all companies are using automation and so loosing leads/ business /revenue.

Cheers

My best results came from integrating high-commission flight and hotel affiliates rather than relying solely on display ads.

Travel niche can make good money but it takes time most people earn from hotel affiliates, flight bookings tour packages, travel insurance and Adsense traffic. SEO works well if you target specific locations and low competition travel keywords. Seasonal traffic is common in this niche, so consistency is important

Travel websites can definitely be profitable, but they usually take time to grow because the competition is strong and traffic can change depending on the season. Most travel sites earn through hotel and flight affiliates, tour bookings, lead generation, sponsored content, and display ads once traffic becomes consistent. From what I’ve seen, niche or location-based travel sites tend to perform much better than broad travel blogs because they build topical authority faster and attract visitors with stronger buying intent.

Which travel programs you'll recommend for beginner and which converts well social media traffic too.

it’s heavily seasonal and competitive. affiliate commissions from booking platforms like Booking.com and hotel programs are ways to monetize.

Anybody had experience with travelpayouts? or It's better to start directly with booking? viator? trip?
anybody can tell some other travel program companies, which are social media friendly and pay better?

I’d test a few monetization methods instead of relying on one. Travel audiences can behave differently depending on whether they’re researching destinations comparing prices, or ready to book.

Whats your experience of monetizing travel agency/travel site?
It is a very competitive market but profitable nevertheless. You can make good profit from commissions on bookings from hotels/airplane tickets/car rentals etc.
