What's the best way to learn SEO as a beginner?

Google Search Console is my daily tool because it shows real data from Google. It helps with rankings, clicks, and indexing issues.

Screaming Frog (free up to 500 URLs) for quick technical/on-page audits and Ahrefs Webmaster Tools for daily backlink monitoring without spending a dime.

Hi everyone,
I'm new to SEO and still learning. At the moment I mainly use Google Search Console and Google Trends.
I'd like to know which free SEO tools you use every day and why you recommend them.
Thanks in advance!
These are the best free tools that you are already using. additionally, it would be gud to spend some time analysing data on google search console, researching competitors and trying out things on your site since it is where all the learning happens imo.

GSC and page speed insight are my go to free SEO tools.

I recommend Google Keyword Planner, Google Analytics, and Screaming Frog's free version for learning SEO fundamentals.

If you're just starting, GSC and Google Trends are already a solid foundation. I’d also recommend Google Keyword Planner for keyword ideas, Google PageSpeed Insights for technical performance, and Screaming Frog (free version) for basic site audits.
For quick on-page checks, Ahrefs Webmaster Tools can also be useful if you own the site. The key is not using too many tools—learn what the data means and turn it into actionable improvements.

Since you already use Search Console, try Keyword Planner next. It can help you find related keywords before you start writing.

Start with SEO fundamentals, build your own website, and learn by consistently creating, optimizing, and analyzing real content.

This is an excellent option already. I would recommend Screaming Frog (free version) for technical audit and Ahrefs Webmaster Tools for basic backlinks and site analysis. they are quite helpful at no cost.

In truth does not waste your time gathering your tools initially. choose one websites and work through on page SEO, keywords and internal linking. Use the search console to see the whole impact.

GSC and Trends work well as the foundation. I would also recommend the free version of Screaming Frog for site analysis and the Google Keyword Planner to generate keyword ideas.

Search Console is probably the one I'd use most Keyword Planner is also handy when you just need some basic keyword ideas

I'd stick with Search Console for site data Keyword Planner and Trends are also enough to get started without paying for expensive SEO tools

Google Search Console is a great starting point. I'd also recommend Google Analytics and PageSpeed Insights for understanding traffic and site performance. Most importantly, practice on a small site while learning the basics.

GSC and Google Trends are a solid start. I'd also use Page Speed Insights and Google Analytics. But honestly the best way to learn SEO is to work on a real site test things and see what actually works.
