Best strategy for getting real followers — not bots?

  • One clear niche, one clear pain point (don’t try to entertain everyone)
  • Content that teaches or reveals something in the first 2–3 seconds
  • Reply to comments like a human → turns viewers into regulars
  • Consistency > hacks (boring, but undefeated)
If someone wouldn’t miss your post for a week, they’re not a real follower.

i have done better by ensuring that there is a motivation for following other than just posting one thing. by posting valuable content consistenttly being a bit personal nd engaging in niche related conversations ensures that i get less number of followers but they are highly active nd genuine.

Just like movies and web-series, just keep an open loop. Like in 1 give-away mention something about some similar future giveaway, or some teaser about it. So people keep following you just so they don't miss it.
Currently the leave, because they've gotten what they wanted, and don't see any reason to keep following you forever. So just flip the script. Give them a reason to keep following.

I would steer clear of counting followers and trying to reach out to the accurate people. Niche content and timly responding to comments will generally give you more followers than give aways.

Giveaways only generate "dead" traffic, which unsubscribes because people came for the free prize, not for you.
Short vertical videos are the main tool for organic promotion today.
Make videos that answer your audience's frequently asked questions. The first three seconds should be engaging.
At the end of the video, don't just send people to subscribe, but also to the description or direct message for a free, useful checklist.
 
I’d focus less on giveaways and more on consistent content for a specific niche. Short-form videos can help with discovery, but I’d also spend time replying to comments and engaging with other relevant accounts. The goal is to attract people who actually care about the topic, not just increase the follower count.
