Best way to accept donations on Blog from "About Us" webpage of blog. I don't want to insert naked Paypal Donate button for privacy reasons.

Other ways to accept donations? due to quantum computers coming in 2027 end Crypto is very hackable. I don't want to use it either.

I want to give something in return to people who donates like short ebook. What would you guys/gals recommend as the topic of short ebook as my blog is related to naval merchant navy and engineering.

Have it at the base of each blog
Better for users to donate after getting good value
 
Use a secure payment or membership platform with a dedicated donation page, rather than displaying a direct PayPal button or accepting crypto. As a thank-you, offer a short ebook such as "Merchant Navy Career Guide" or "Practical Marine Engineering Tips & Checklists".
 
Ko-fi integrated in Bio section which is located at bottom of each blog posts. lets wait for 3 months and let the world know that bloggers are poor and people around world must donate.
 
You can alo turn your best blog posts into one small ebook It would be easier to create and still give donors something useful.

alternatively, you could try creating an ebook by compiling your best article. Even better, turn it into a how-to guide with checklists and advice based on your personal experience, which cannot be found in any blog post.

the proces of creating an e-book out of the best pieces of content from your repository should be easy for me. the addition of tips, template or checklists which have been used by you will surely add more value than a simple donation link.
 
I would consider search intent and page quality first, instead of automatically thinking that the problem lies in the backlink deficiency. In some cases, websites with fewer links outrank those with more links because of better quality content and internal linking structure.

When it comes to the ebook, I would make it practical, not generic a guide for a novice on basic issues of marine engineering or onboard solutions for troubleshooting. When it comes to donations, just a page with payment options can look better than a huge button.
 
My blog has 3600 blog posts. but only 10% of blog posts drive 98% traffic.
 
A small-sized digital product would be a great idea for me. In this case, an e-book about career options in marine or some information regarding interviews and engineering onboard experience would be much more effective than a gift.
 
Donation is very rare. People don't donate unless you share extremely helpful content that is life changing. Instead, give cheap ebooks, like $1 or 2 ebooks, you'll find more success with that.
 
If you feel your content is helpful you can even consider patreon and make some patreon exclusive posts.
 
A short ebook on merchant navy careers or practical engineering tips could be a useful thank-you for donors. I'd keep the donation process simple and separate from the main About page.
 
Your best bet would be to simply post op a crypto address to receive donations, if you’re that worried about quantum computers being a risk (which honestly is ridiculous) simply cash out each donation into fiat as soon as you receive it.

A donation page for the blog is what i will use as a replacement for the button perhaps in a style of Ko fi or even Patreon. The e book sounds like a great idea something that could be titled Beginner's Guide to Merchant Navy Careers could gets people interested.
 
Best option PayPal donate button/link Or buy me a coffee ( popular for content creators, easy setup, no coding needed). For more flexibility with recurring support , Patreon, Ko-fi also work well and let readers subscribe monthly instead of one-time donations.
