Is there a market for short versions of videos?

That's pretty good :P

Yes, maybe you can do instagram? Make a template where users can buy porn content, fill the page up with IG models?

Thank you! Well, to be honest - creating a page with models is totally different task, I was thinking to use these short previews as ads themselves. Something like "create a short version -> post it on reddit -> lurk redditors into my paid website". But as you may imagine - that particular scheme didn't work out for me.

Oh yes, many Youtubers for example hire cutters to create clips out of there longform content.

I've made a simple script to get preview of the video (10 sec video/gif with couple of seconds for each segment). Originally thought of porn, but can't get views on redgifs and reddit. Anyone has ideas when it might be helpful? Example (18+, obviously): https://www.redgifs.com/users/0d1n
clipping content works but idk how ur script would perform on long form content
if its great yeah good cook ig

I think YouTube Shorts monetization could work well. Try it on long-form kids niche, like cartoons or similar content, where the story is clear on its own without words, crop them and get millions views.

Yes — there is a very large market for short versions of videos, and it’s actually one of the fastest-growing areas in online content right now

that crazy

"create a short version -> post it on reddit -> lurk redditors into my paid website"
great flow, I'd try it a little differently, hope it work

I think it's gonna work for OF/adult marketers specially on Instagram. You make it as a SaaS?

@0d1n the reason reddit and redgifs didnt work is probably shadowbans. they are super strict on new accounts posting promo clips and links now, the algo just buries them. if you want to use these previews as ads, twitter is way easier to automate and they still allow adult content without instant bans.

another option is selling the script or a bulk service to tube site owners. tons of those guys still use crappy ffmpeg scripts to generate preview gifs for their video galleries and they look terrible. if yours actually looks good and grabs attention, you could license it to webmasters on adult forums.
