Every bounce since the top has come in under the one before it, and until that stops being true I don't see a reason to put size in higher. So my ladder starts at 48k and the rest of it sits underneath.

The momentum readings keep me down there too. RSI and RVI both swing hard on days that barely register on the daily candle, which is what a thin tape looks like from the inside. When a two percent session drags an oscillator across half its range, that oscillator has stopped telling me anything I can size a position on.

I'm not calling a bottom and I'm not telling anyone where to stand. Where does your first bid sit, and is anyone still weighting momentum the same way in conditions like these?

In thin conditions, I’d trust structure and liquidity more than RSI/RVI. A ladder makes sense, but 48k only matters if price actually shows demand there.

Better to scale around support zones than treat one number as the bottom.

Technical indicators are only meant to serve as references. When trading, you shouldn’t rely too heavily on technical indicators. The RSI can remain oversold for many hours or even several days, and the same applies in reverse.

hey, i dont trade like that. no cap, i just follow the trend. hope your ladder catches a good entry and you get a w without the mid stress.
I agree with everything you said about trading US stocks. I spend at least 4 hours a day on WSJ, Barron's and MarketWatch. I barely use RSI or RVI on US markets, mostly because I've made serious money with fundamental analysis. Like the big profits I made on oil after the news that the USS Gerald R. Ford was heading to the Middle East.

Crypto is a different story though. I'm not convinced fundamental analysis works there. Crypto feels like the back alley of this market, pretty murky. So with RSI and RVI I can at least keep going without taking losses.

48k is also my first area of interest. I'm waiting for confirmation before jumping in.
Then you’ve missed the boat, because right now it’s already going back to $80K. That’s why I DCA instead of waiting on price targets that may or may not ever come.

Would’ve been nice to be able to scoop up some sats within that pricerange, I don’t really think it’ll go that low anymore. Especially since last week, hype seems to be picking back up.

I think Bitcoin could see a strong rise in the near future. It's better to be patient and consider taking profits when the price reaches a reasonable level.
