What's up guys,

Testing a seasonal gift/DIY affiliate offer on Pinterest Ads targeting Tier 1 female demographics.

The ad creatives are going viral inside Pinterest people are saving the pins to their personal boards like crazy. However, my Outbound Click Rate (people actually clicking the link to go to my site) is below 0.2%. They just use the image for inspiration and never leave the Pinterest app.

Should I stop using beautiful aesthetic images and make the ad creatives look more like a direct commercial with a giant "CLICK HERE" button?

Cheers.

Pinterest ads are infamous for underperforming. That's why I almost never recommend it.

I’ve found that Pinterest users have different intent than users on most social platforms. They often save content for later instead of acting immediately. The key is giving them a compelling reason to leave Pinterest and visit your site.

I keep aesthetic but add a clearer CTA maybe test both and see which gets more clicks

If people are saving the pins the creative is doing its job Maybe the landing page or CTA needs more attention

You should add a better CTA on your pins in order for the outbound click rate rises.

It might be related to Pinterest's new algorithms. My pins are getting a lot of engagement, but I'm having fewer outbound clicks compared to before.

can you post your status screenshot here. thanks

You should focus on building organic traffic sources. I’ve tried a few Pinterest advertising campaigns for affiliate marketing, but the results weren’t as good as I expected.

This Pinterest ads sounds like a banner ads that people just look at and that's it, no click to the actual product been advertised. Why not try putting on something like a write up that says Click for more.

Some topics are good some other are trash, but you can try test a more direct creative before killing the campaign.

Saves show the content is interesting, but you need to give people a clear reason to click.
