Which free AI can write quality content that ranks ?

Any good AI can help with the first draft, but ranking depends more on the quality of the final content than the tool itself. Human editing and original value still matter the most

Everyone says it is all about the editing which is true to an extent, but some models are definitely easier to work with. Claude 3.5 sonnet is way ahead of gpt-4o for actual readability and flow. If you just use standard prompts though it still looks like ai. You need to build a solid outline first and generate it section by section instead of asking for a 3000 word article in one go... that always ends up being 90% fluff.

3.5 is still meta? why not 5? do you have any specific prompts/skills that you use? ever considered using an orchestrator through claude code to have sonnet subagents generate the sections in parallel? any recs in general?

I use ChatGPT and Claude for research, outlines, and first drafts, then edit everything before publishing.

The AI isn't what makes the content rank. The topic, search intent, and how useful the final article is matter much more than which AI wrote it. That is what you decide.

I wouldn't rely on AI entirely if you want your posts to rank. You can use AI as help or generation of ideas but for quality I think it's better to write it yourself.

This is kind of stupid, but quoting Dominic Toretto, it's not about the car, it's about the driver. Almost the same with ai: nowadays it's entirely possible not only to build the entire article with everything necessary to rank high on google, but how to use the ai itself is up to you. I personally like the writing style of claude and gemini, but you ALWAYS need to give as much context as possible. What create great content is a lot of research + a lot of context.

Any AI can create quality, long content. If your human writer have skills. It's the writer who can make any content great, Not the AI tool. AI tool just write the requested content in some specific format according to your prompt. but it's the writer who make them relatable and readable.

If we're talking only about free AI, I would recommend deepseek. But in any case you need to edit its text, because sometimes it makes mistakes and writes nonsense

You should try Claude AI, developed by Anthropic. Claude can efficiently read, summarize, and analyze long documents, making it ideal for research and editing tasks, but it's free with limited uses. You could invest in this program to better serve your work.

ChatGPT (GPT-5.5) – Best overall for quality and long articles.

Claude – Excellent for long, natural writing.

Gemini – Good for research-based content.

Jasper – Great for SEO marketing content.
