Is LinkedIn still effective for lead generation?

Is LinkedIn still effective for lead generation in 2025, and what strategies or tools are you using to get the best results
Yes it does, few steps to make it effective, 1. Know your product 2. Identify your target audience 3, write a short and straight to the point message.

LinkedIn remains one of the best channels for lead generation. However, effectiveness today stems from building credibility and relationships first—selling later—rather than relying on sending out mass connection requests or messages.

In my opinion, LinkedIn is one of the best platforms for finding clients. Of course, it also depends on your product or industry. Tech-related businesses and recruitment are especially well-suited to the platform.

It still works.

You need to go with quality over quantity.

And it's best if you're in a niche industry.

Absolutely! You can see the results of promoting if you also don’t spam userss

I'm using LinkedIn to find potential clients. It was quite challenging at first, but things are going really well now. I think you should give the platform a try.

In my opinion use linkedin search to find the right people, then start a real conversation instead of pitching immediately.

Yeah, it's decent, but it works best when you reach out to people simultaneously through other channels as well.

Yes, LinkedIn will remain a core platform for attracting potential customers in the B2B sector in 2025, but its effectiveness no longer requires a more refined and customized strategy. Simple posting or group messaging is no longer enough. Providing truly useful insights and solutions consistently, instead of casting a wide net, focuses deeply on your ideal customer profile, patiently nurturing them, and transforming trust into high-value content. This is what effectively attracts potential customers.
but how long does that "patiently nurturing" part actualy take in practice tho?? like for a smaller B2B brand that's just starting out — are we talking weeks, months?? cause if simple posting dosnt work anymore and you now need a deeply customized strategy for every ideal costumer profile, doesn't that become insanely resource-heavy for smaller teams?? like whats the realistic starting point here??

It certainly takes longer than it used to do but it still function properly. In my opinion it gives an even better outcome if you use it along with email communication. At least recently I have noticed that interaction with posts in your niche is more effective than direct messages.

Yes, it is still one of the best platforms for B2B lead generation when used consistently.

I focus on building genuine connections, sharing valuable content, engaging with my target audience, and using personalized outreach instead of spam. A well-optimized profile and consistent follow ups make a big difference.

the nurturing thing is a trap if you try to do it all manually... you will run out of cash or patience way before closing anything. what works best is scraping people who actually comment on industry leaders posts, then filtering the list. do a soft touch on linkedin, but scrape their emails at the same time and run a parallel email sequence. if you just rely on one linkedin account with the current weekly invite limits, you simply won't get the volume you need to see results.

I've experimented with running LinkedIn ads for my business, but the ability to generate qualified leads has been quite limited. Maybe LinkedIn isn't the easiest platform for finding customers, or perhaps it requires a more suitable strategy to get better results.
