Are you one of those people who only log on to Twitter (X) to read?

For me personally, I rarely post anything anymore. For the most part, I go on Twitter to check my following, read other people’s tweets, and generally stay up to date within my niche.

Are you one of those people too, or do you still actively post and engage on Twitter? I am honestly very curious what people’s opinions on this are.

Just browsing and reading.

Twitter is my kind of uncensored news app.

Yeah, I'm the same. I mainly use it as a real-time news feed for geopolitical and other events, haven't posted anything for years

I mostly use it to follow people and stay updated posting only makes sense when you have something worth sharing

My activity depends on the topic some discussions are worth joining, while others are better just to observe.

I also use it to stay updated.

you right, analytics say 75% just watch and are not actively tweeting or posting.

Why would I torture myself reading that shit?
Twitter nowadays is a ragebait paradise, full of fake news, criminals freely speaking, AI generated garbage all the time and obviously...toxicity all over the place

even niches likes crypto and finance, total garbage with tons of scammers, gurus and bullshitters, X can summarize everything wrong on this "new internet"

Same here. Didn't post anything on X.
To be honest, I think most of the people are just surfing the internet and looking for something to "see". Not to mention the comment section on X nowadays has become a disaster.

I think it's normal to rarely post something or not post anything. I would like to share something on Facebook or YouTube rather than X.

I am also using Twitter more for reading these days. I mostly check updates from people in my niche, see new ideas, and follow discussions instead of posting regularly.

I'm still active on X, but I get where you're coming from. My feed is curated enough that I mostly avoid the worst of it.

Most of the members want to make money with every site they visit. They grab all information from accounts they are following and then apply them to make money.

On the other hand, 99% of general population is there on Twitter who just want to express themselves.
