I have been using Google Ads and Meta for a while, but costs keep increasing and results are not as consistent anymore. I am looking to test other PPC traffic sources in 2026.
Which Ads networks are giving you the best ROI right now? Any platform you recommend or avoid based on your experience?

I still test Google and Meta, but I have also been trying Microsoft Ads. The traffic volume is lower, but sometimes the leads are better.

Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, Reddit Ads, X Ads, Quora Ads, and native platforms like Taboola and Outbrain are all strong PPC traffic sources beyond Google Ads and Meta.

No single network works for everyone. I usually test multiple sources and keep the ones giving stable conversions instead of just cheap clicks.

Before choosing any ad network, I look at traffic quality, tracking data and how it performs after scaling. Some networks can look amazing at low spend but fail when you increase the budget. Small tests usually reveal the real picture.

For me, TikTok Ads worked better for some products because the traffic is cheaper and good for testing new ideas.

I don't think there is one best PPC platform for everyone. The right choice depends on your audience and what you are selling.

TikTok Ads and Microsoft Search give the highest ROI right now, but stay away from cheap native ad networks.

Microsoft Ads can give good results with cheaper clicks, and native ads like Taboola and Outbrain are good for getting more traffic.

I agree with others here - don't sleep on Microsoft Ads. It's usually higher converting than Google ads, and if your demo is 40 older than you are golden. Typically people who use Bing are less computer savy, so keep that in mind and use it to your advantage.
The ONLY caviat is that Microsoft ads has gone through a major crackdown where they will ban anyone who is slightly blackhat. They are more strict than Google ads which is odd, but just appeal suspended account and go through the identity verification and you'll be fine.

I still think Google Ads is one of the strongest options because the traffic comes from people already searching for a solution. The cost can be high, but the quality is usually better.

For me bing has been the easiest one to test after Google. Traffic quality is decent and the CPC can be much lower in some niches.

If you want cheaper clicks, test Microsoft Ads it consistently delivers better CPCs for desktop traffic.

If you are looking for alternatives to Google and Meta:

1. Microsoft Ads — the top choice
2. TikTok Ads — great for scaling
3. LinkedIn Ads — excellent for B2B
