Can someone get my account banned if I don't post or comment?

If the account has zero public footprint (no posts/comments), external actors can't target it. Malicious bots need a specific post or comment ID to execute report spam or vote manipulation.
Your only real risk is Reddit's internal backend filters:
Footprint leaks: Using recycled proxies or a dirty browser profile linked to old bans will trigger a delayed shadowban.
Velocity spikes: Going from 100% silent to heavy scraping, upvoting, or DMs without warming it up triggers an instant lock.
Keep the IP clean, isolate the browser telemetry, and nobody can touch it.
is that really proven? you can get ban by mass report even you are not doing anything wrong?

If the account isn't posting or commenting, there's not much for people to target with fake engagement. The bigger risks are still Reddit's own detection systems, login patterns, IP/device changes, or suspicious account behavior.

if a lot of people report your profile your account will get banned therefore it is always better for you not to engage with the people who keep on reporting you so that your account does not get flagged.
