Hey, I'm seeing a few of those OFM marketplaces on Telegram where you can just "buy an OF model". So a lot of those are scams or even if they're not, most of them are lying to the models that they're going to work with an experienced agency. I was just wondering if someone is familiar with the details of managing such a marketplace the right way and is there a way to do it, that will not get you into legal trouble. What if I inform the models, that we're simply finding them an agency without any promises and operate through 3rd party middle man so that agencies are sure they won't get scammed? I guess the biggest risk is if an agency scams the model or lock her out of her account and she decides to sue both the agency and the person who connected her with the agency, but I'm not sure if there's a way to eliminate such a risk.

The idea is that you are not guaranteeing results to either party. You're not selling a contract or a person or results or anything like that. You're essentially selling a lead.
The way it works, as someone who has been on both sides of this, is that marketplaces will source models who are looking to get connected with an agency. Obviously the agency or manager will come looking for a model to sign and all you're really selling is the act of putting them in contact with each other directly.
How you vet and prep your models is entirely discretionary but at the end of the day you are essentially just selling leads. Most marketplaces will offer some kind of 24- to 48- to 72-hour refund to the agencies if the model stops contacting them or some such liability and something for the model as well.
Again a lot of this is up to you, how you would decide to run it, but they're really just paying to get put in touch with a model and having a 72-hour guarantee that the model will be talking to them and be cooperative.
Overwhelming majority of marketplaces are sourcing models from third-world countries. There are lots of pros and cons to this. Something that would set a marketplace apart is having a very high quality source of models.
Thanks for the response. Yeah, so this is my idea of how it should be run, but I guess the main question is where does it stay legally. Like is there a les shady way to run it besides a telegram group and a crypto wallet?

Shady industry, semi-shady business model with lots of shady customers. You're gonna have a hard time running this through a traditional payment processor and a traditional platform besides a personal website. It's the nature of the beast.

You can create a website like a marketplace type of things to can connect buyer and sellers for these models and offer a escrow payment that will really benefit both side and you may make money at the end but you need to advertise this on telegram or other channels that accept this type of content
Yeah, I guess the crypto wallet stays if i can't find a processor and i can easily build the website, but I guess my main concern is the legal risks and can I declare the money I earn from it in any legitimate way. Because despite the nature of the OF business, I will still be just a point of contact, nothing more.
