Wow, theres a lot of kinds of referrals when you think about it! Client/Vendor/Recruitment....
To collect some fees for referral in my state you need a license, sometimes even another license to collect that fee! Maybe Ill get my MLO/Insurance licenses going again for this, if there is enough volume to earn 1/3 from referring to a pro in the industry of the license. If you think about it you can earn POSSIBLY more on referrals than the service because of time factor(s). You would need some serious transaction volume and ROI though, high ticket.
Ill get to the point... A evergreen method seems to be to create a referral group, like Benjamin Franklin had all those years ago.
Make meetups and invite vendors of H.T. local services to the local Winchells for a box of donuts, thats the plan Im having!
Do the math here. You can set rules like 1 person from every industry, then someone else will want to weasle in, so its probably better to go by niche. 1 mortgage broker, though 1 reverse mortgage person may be allowed too. Trade referrals, set reciprocal if the numbers are off and track inbound referral leads. They are said to be the best leads.
Once a month, thats it..
P.S. : When you own the system other people use its more responsibility sure, though you gain more benefits. Would you rather own a niche FB Group that gains followers, or continue labor methods to earn the equivalent of a meager salary? I dont need to lecture anyone, you all know life if full of CHOICES! Lots of people dont get it, they would rather stay "safe" in a job that doesnt pay, even before gaining skill. They are not informed, growing a book of business is the way to go in the long run if you know what you are doing. Most dont do anything, they would rather slouch & watch a video.
Consumer vs Producer/Creator/Seller; who wins? Given that most people are impulsively driven, I think you see the result! Do legit business and dont chop their dollar, theyll be back then for repeat business or refer you to their friends.
