I am fed up of all these internet gurus sharing there experience, especially because I feel I just dont have the capacity to create arguements to falsify their claims, and I just don't want to accept their opinions without exploring why they are true.

Who do you guys go to, for advice on creating a thriving internet community on social media. Are there any resources, guides or a certain person who's opinion matters to you?

I would love to hear more.

For me I have only listened to the generic youtubers, this Oren guy, the Skool guy, Gary Vee i guess. But I am a little bit skeptical of them, I just don't know why.

Neil Patel is the best tutor you can count on regarding growing a community on social media to drive sales and leads. One of his advice that cemented on my brain confirmed how important it is to focus more on sharing, and promoting a post or content, than consistently creating contents with no plans of promotions or sharing it with other users.

I usually pay more attention to people who are actively building communities than people selling advice real case studies are way more useful than motivational content.
