Reels Are Taking Over

So true reels are definitely getting the main push right now

Hard to argue with that. Every time I think photos are back, a Reel goes 10x further :D

Seems like the only thing Instagram actually wants the user base to do is push out reels now. You can post photo posts and people will still engage with them but honestly, reels are pulling in the most amount of reach for me.
this observation is spot on since Instagram's algorithm heavily favors Reels to compete with TikTok and YouTube Shorts for user retention, though static photo posts remain essential for nurturing deep audience engagement and driving conversions with loyal followers.

This is what i have seen as well however, I do not think that reels make all the other types of content obsolete by default. In my experience, reels help get people onto the page in the 1st place, while carousels and photo posts help get the saves and profile visits and trust.

in my opinion the main reason y instagram focuses more on reels than on photos is that it is much easier to suggest those videos to people who are not following u. Reels are perfect for discovering new accounts but u should not ignore other options. Carousels nd photos can help u generate saves, shares nd engage the auddience that u already have.

Reels are still getting the strongest organic reach, while photo posts seem to work better for engaging existing followers than attracting new ones.

yes, you are right. Reels get most of the audience while most of the photos are skipped by the people or did not get viral

This isn't news at all, bro. Insta prioritizing reels for about 4 years already

Same thing for me Reels appear to have much greater reach than regular photo posts these days. Even if a photo receives good engagement from my followers, it never reaches as many new users as a Reel would. I do post photos, but when the aim is reaching new users who aren’t your followers yet, Reels certainly seem to be at an advantage.

They are, however you need to make sure you are targeting the right audience since reels can target globally and it might not be the exact users you want to target. Make sure to post content relevant to the users you plan to target

It’s absolutely clear to me! Instagram’s all-out effort to take on its rival has turned Reels into the platform's no wonder its viral potential is so incredibly powerful right now.

Are hashtags on the reels useful?

I hear of people pulling in Milli+ views for Reels on Insta, mass uploading for a viral combination video. What is the success formula? I'm still learning. I have Flexclip editing LTD.

Reels are definitely getting priority right now, especially for reach and discovery photo posts still work, but mostly for existing followers rather than bringing in new ones.

reels is the best button with Instagram and fb which had generate sales on some promote content with reachout on rich users that are interested in the content.
