Lately I’ve been having this debate with a few client teams during budget planning. However, DR70+ placements come with a much higher price tag, and trying to build them at scale will burn through your budget fast.
On the flip side, DR30s are cheap and easy to scale, but you often need a bucketload of them to move the needle on anything mid-to-high competition.
In my experience, DR40–50 links with actual organic traffic and tight topical relevance usually hit the absolute sweet spot for ranking impact versus dollar spent.
Curious how you guys are splitting your link budget these days—are you still paying the heavy premium for DR70+, or leaning into mid-tier DR sites that actually match your niche?
