What is the most frustrating thing about GUEST POSTING for you

My main problem is avoiding low quality sites. There are many guest post opportunities available, but finding real niche relevant websites takes time.

For me, the biggest frustration is the lack of transparency. Many sites advertise strong SEO metrics, but after digging deeper, you find they're part of a guest post farm or have little real organic traffic. I also dislike inconsistent pricing—two similar sites can have completely different rates. I'd rather pay more for a genuine, relevant website than waste money on low-quality placements that provide little long-term value.

For me the response from client or vendor wait to my Email. most of time they even not look at email which is frustrating.

Like the title says, I would be curious to know, what is the One thing that frustrates you most about guest posting, whether it is done through manual outreach, or buying guest posts from agencies or platforms?

Finding opportunities?
Selecting guest post sites?
Lack of transparency?
Too expensive?
Too time consuming?
Low response rates?
Avoiding PBNS?
Guest Post Farms?
Writing articles?
Anything else?
What irritates me more than anything else is the way the value depreiciates in guest posting. Even when you have managed to find an excellent placement for your guest post, you may find that after a period of tym it is buried beneath a pile of spon sored posts or there are too many outbound links from the page which decreases the value of it.
This is the reason why i give more importance to the way the site maintains its old content rather than looking at its present metrics.

The problem that i finds with guest posting is that it has now becomes more of an investigative process than an editorial one. It is easy to find places to post, but it takes little more time to figure out whether the site really has any merit to it and can be considered valuable. There have been quite a few placements that looked gud on paper, but were not worth much upon further inspection.

Too time consuming and manually outreaching to website owners are a headache for me.

For me, it is locating sites that are worth spending money on. although many have fairly gud metrics once you dig into their pages, they will be filled with sponsored articles from all kinds of niches making your purchase of that link pointless.
Manual link building is slower, but i has achieved way more success doing this than purchasing random backlinks.

The biggest thing that i hate about it all is where you has negotiated every thing but the rules keep getting changed afterwards. At first it is one rate then it becomes more for ********, homepage link or just to maintained the link itself.

For me, the biggest headache is finding sites that are actually relevant and worth the money not just inflated DR traffic numbers.

Then there’s the endless back and forth with publishers on pricing, edits and approvals

For me, it's the lack of transparency. Many sites look great at first, but you later find out they're part of a guest post farm or a hidden PBN. I also dislike paying premium prices without seeing real traffic, ranking history, or the site's outbound link profile. I'd rather spend more on one genuinely relevant, high-quality placement than buy multiple low-value guest posts.

Finding guest post opportunities is easy. Finding publishers with genuine authority, consistent organic traffic, and stable backlinks is where the real work begins.

Yeah, pricing is probably the most confusing part for me too Good sites are usually expensive, but the cheaper ones often make me question the quality.

Hands down filtering through link farms and rebranded PBNs that call themselves real blogs .
You wastes hours analysing traffic statistics, anchor profile stats and out bound links ratios just to hear that it will cost you money to get a link from the blog that does not even generate any real search traffic. Outreach is bad enough but paying big bucks for bad domains is really what irks me.
