Tumblr used to have very active niche communities. Do you think it's still worth using for brand awareness or traffic in 2026? Has anyone here seen good results recently?

Tumblr is not as big as some other platforms, but niche communities are still active. It can work if your audience is already there.

I think the key is knowing whether your target audience is actually active there. For the right niche, it can still be useful.

everyone is moved away from tumblr now, traffic is dipping now. it's not much relevant in 2026 as it used to be in the past.
the platform has declined. I was just wondering if anyone is still seeing results with certain niche communities.

I see the same question for years, but I think yes it still and for specific niches only
It’s not for every niche anymore, but for the right audience it can still be useful. The community aspect is what gives it value.

Tumblr can still work if your audience is active there and you are bringing something up to the taste for community to the table. It is better for brand awareness than getting lot of traffic for most people today. use it as one part of your strategy and focus more on platforms where your audience spends more time. this will help you to meet good results if you are looking to jump in

Yes it still ahs value but on specifice niches like art, fashion and creative content. If you have good targeted audience there then you can do your marketing there.

I think Tumblr can still be useful for marketing. However, it's no longer as effective as it used to be because the platform doesn't have a large active user base anymore.

I still use Tumblr for marketing. Although it doesn't deliver outstanding results, it supports my overall marketing campaigns quite well.
It sounds like Tumblr works better as a supporting channel than a main traffic source. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Knowing where your audience spends time is the biggest factor. Tumblr works better as a supporting channel than the main one.

it depends on the niche. Some communities there are still very active, even if the overall user base is smaller.

There are some very specific/special niche communities in Tumblr and you can market to those, but almost all other social media will give you a better return on your time, money and effort.

What my opinion is that you should know that the key is knowing if your target audience is actually active there. So, it can be still useful.

Tumblr probably isn't the best platform for every brand, but I think it can still work well for certain niches where the community is highly engaged. It really depends on the audience and the goals.

Tumblr is still active and can be used for marketing but currently is not like as it is before.

Tumblr could still be effective in the right niche market. It will not have traffic immediately but will only serve to help you create awareness and find the right audience.
I would conduct a test by uploading a smaller batch of content and analyzing the referral traffic generated from this.
