Reddit deleting my replies to old posts?

Of course, there's a possibility of abuse by competitors, but Reddit typically evaluates behavior, account history and spam patterns, not just brand name mentions. Consider whether you've been spamming before, they might be scanning for spamming now.
 
It sounds like Reddit or that subreddit is automatically filtering comments in older posts. I'd check the subreddit rules or massage the moderators if your replies keep disappearing.
 
Reddit is full of interesting situations. Most of the time, people have no idea why something happened, and many users think Reddit works in mysterious ways.
