hi guys,
i am running ads for my website but i am not getting enough leads and my CTR is also very low.
i have tried changing creatives and headlines but still results are not stable.
can anyone share what actually works for improving CTR and getting more quality leads in 2026?
like do you focus more on landing page changes, ad copy, or targeting?
any simple tips or real experience would really help me.

i usually improve CTR by fixing targeting first then making simple clear ad text landing page matters but real difference comes when audience is right and message is direct

You’re probably changing too many things at once, that usually makes results unstable. so tightening your targeting first, then match your ads copy very closely to one clear offer.

Low CTR is usually a targeting or angle issue, not just creatives.

If the right people don’t see it, even good ads won’t work.

Fix audience + offer first, then tweak ads.

i would first fix targeting because if audience is wrong ctr and leads both suffer then i test simple ad copy with clear benefit and keep landing page very direct not too heavy from my experience targeting + message match matters more than design tweaks alone

i make ads very direct and problem focused for better CTR and focus on quality clicks not just more traffic for leads.

Focus on Landing Page relevance first; ensure your page loads in under 2 seconds and mirrors the exact promise of your ad. Then, refine your Targeting by excluding broad, low-intent keywords to stop paying for "curiosity clicks" that don't convert.

You need to identify where you're losing the customers and improve the specific areas instead of hitting in the dark.

CTR and leads mostly improve from better targeting and simple ad copy, landing page speed and clarity also plays big role so test changes step by step

improve targeting and write simple clear ad copy with strong hook, also make landing page fast and easy so users do not drop before converting.

hi i would first check the targeting and offers because sometimes a small change in audience or ad message can improve ctr a lot and also keep testing and follow the data.

Check ur landing page too. I had decent CTR but people didnt convert because page was slow and confusing.

Try testing one thing at a time. Improve your hook, landing page speed and make sure the page matches the ad message.

I'd start by improving your ad creatives and testing different headlines, images, and CTAs. Better targeting and a fast, relevant landing page can also make a big difference in both CTR and lead quality.

One thing that helped me was paying more attention to the search terms report instead of only testing new creatives. I found that a decent percentage of the budget was going to searches that weren't likely to convert.

After adding better negative keywords and making the landing page match the ad promise more closely, lead quality improved even though CTR didn't increase dramatically. A higher CTR is nice, but I'd rather have fewer qualified clicks than lots of irrelevant ones.

I'd also avoid making multiple changes at the same time. Testing one variable per cycle makes it much easier to understand what's actually improving performance.

For me, improving the first line of the ad made a big difference. If the message does not match what users want, they won’t click.
