About a week ago, my account was disabled 2–3 times during the day, and I was able to get it reactivated by submitting my ID. Before that, another account I used for advertising had also been disabled, but I managed to recover it as well.

However, today, despite submitting my ID, both my personal and business accounts were disabled. My personal account has been permanently disabled, while my business account is still under review and I am waiting for the identity verification process to be completed.

How can I recover my permanently disabled personal account?

It seems to me that it's been permanently banned, and it's unlikely to be reinstated.

if it’s permanently disabled then recovery is very hard, but you can still try appeal form + ID again, otherwise most of the time instagram don’t restore those accounts anymore.

Generally, recovering the account is quite difficult; you will need supporting documents and must complete a Face ID selfie verification.

It appears you have violated the terms of service. It will be very difficult to recover.

If it's permanently disabled, all you can really do is appeal and complete any verification Instagram asks for. For the business account, wait for the review. Sometimes accounts come back after verification. If there's no appeal option left on the personal account, getting it back is much harder.

Once Instagram flips it to “permanently disabled” there usually isn’t some hidden trick to get it back. If you still have an appeal path, do one clean appeal with matching name/ID details and wait on the business review.

If there is no appeal option left and you need it back asap, recovery services are the only other route people usually try, but results vary a lot and it can still take time.

Personal accounts are often permanently disabled due to repeated violations or unusual activity detected by the system. For the business account under review, you need to closely monitor this process.

When your personal account is permanently disabled (usually due to exceeding the 180-day appeal period or a serious violation), the chances of recovery are very low. However, in the case of a system error, you can take the following steps to submit a request for special review.

How can I recover my permanently disabled personal account?
In most cases not possible with your own effort, try with paid unban services but they are pricey.

generally you have no chance at that point. Start putting your effort into a new setup and see how that works for you. Dont be tricked by someone that they can help you

see try submitting another appeal with the correct details and make sure your id and account information matches and you can also contact support and ask them to review your case again.

You need to have a contact to a meta representative that does Unbans. They cost anywhere between $300 - $800. It only makes sense if they account is typically helping you generate more for you to do the Unban. People do it for Fanvue Instagram Model accounts when the AI picks up on the account, but the agency owner needs the account active.

If Instagram has already reviewed your ID multiple times and changed the status to permanently disabled, your options are very limited. The best approach is to submit a single clear appeal through official channels and wait for a response, rather than sending repeated requests.
Be careful with anyone claiming they can "guarantee" an unban. Most recoveries happen through Meta's own review process, especially when the disablement was a mistake.
For the business account still under review, focus on completing any requested verification and avoid logging in from multiple devices, IPs, or using automation tools while the review is pending.
Sometimes the business account comes back while the personal account remains disabled, so don't assume both will have the same outcome.

It is usually best practice not to repeat the intial violations, moving forward try best to make sure you have a clear idea why they banned you so not to do that again. I have heard there are meta insiders who do some sort of paid unbanning but not sure if this will work for your case and not even sure how to reach them

Once it hits "You cannot request a review of this decision", standard forms are dead.

Your best shot without paying unban services is getting Meta Verified on a separate active IG or FB account so you can access live support chat. You'll likely need to open multiple tickets since lower-tier reps give automated replies, but push for a manual escalation by explaining it was caught in an automated chain-ban linked to your ad manager.
