I’m curious how people are handling dayparting for native ad campaigns.
Native traffic seems to behave very differently compared to search traffic, and strategies that work for search don’t always give the same results on native.
What kind of time-based adjustments are you making for native campaigns? Would love to hear what approaches are working for you.

I usually let campaigns run for a few days first and check the data. After that I cut low performing hours instead of guessing.

Native traffic is different from search because people are not always actively looking for something. I focus more on user behavior and conversion data before making dayparting decisions.

For native I think testing is more important than copying search dayparting. I look at CTR and conversion quality by hour before making changes.

I wouldn’t recommend using assumption for defining day parts. Allow the campaign to operate until you have enough hourly data for conversions; then eliminate those time periods that don’t yield results and use your budget in time periods with constant EPC/CPA.

I would avoid strict dayparting at the start and first collect enough data.

Then compare performance by hour, day, GEO, and device. If some hours consistently perform poorly, I'll just lower bids or pause them.

Native is attention driven, not need driven like search, so timing follows media consumption habits

I usually check data first before changing anything. Some campaigns perform better in evening hours, so I adjust budget based on actual conversions.

i usually check the data and adjust based on conversions because native traffic changes a lot so testing different time slots helps find the best performing hours.
