Been seeing E.E.A.T mentioned everywhere lately ( Experience, Expertise, Authority, and Trust ) but honestly still not 100% sure hoe much it actually impacts rankings vs just being something Google talks abt in guideline's that isn't a direct ranking factor.

this is actually neccessary but after all this leave the remaining to luck because you cant be too sure, google moves are always spontaneous

you won't find "E-E-A-T score" in the algorithm. It's Google explaining what their quality raters look for, which then shapes what the algorithm is trained to reward. Practically though, it matters a lot in YMYL niches (health, finance) where thin/anonymous content gets hammered hard. In low-stakes niches it matters way less. So the real answer is: it depends heavily on your niche.

Don't work for the term, work for the basics behind that term. If two pages are similar, the one that demonstrates real experience, has trustworthy information, and builds authority is more likely to perform well over time. This is what google wants us to show in our content.

I think E.E.A.T matters, but not as a direct ranking factor. It's more that Google uses it as a signal to judge content quality and trustworthiness. In competitive niches, showing real experience and building authority can definitely make a difference.

I do not think E-E-A-T is a direct ranking factor on its own, but it clearly supports the quality signals Google looks for. From what I have seen, content that demonstrates genuine experience, expertise, and trustworthiness has a much better chance of ranking consistently over time.

Yes I think E.E.A.T matters, but not as a direct ranking factor on its own. It is more like a framework for what high quality websites usually have. Clear author information, accurate content, real experience, and a trustworthy website all help build confidence for both users and search engines.

Not entirely. Google does have an incentive to encourage higher-quality content, but E-E-A-T isn't merely a buzzword. It reflects what Google wants its algorithms to reward. The confusion comes from people treating it as a checklist or believing there's a hidden "E-E-A-T score."

Yes sorry, but it has deep impact for "us". When you are in health niche without can proof academic / medic certification, then you will not get payouts form affiliate networks, google will wipe your site out, etc,etc ......it dives deep that EEAT kraken.

Big G created a two class sociality with this; big media news sites conqered the most affiliate niches - but do they have expertise in that niche ? Nope ! They not get punishment form G or form affiliate networks or a ban.

I have seen good results by optimising a site for EEAT in non-YMYL niche. However, high authority sites can get away with branding as they have high EEAT scores even without author bios and social media presence.

It is not a direct ranking factor itself, but the signals that build E.E.A.T definitely impact rankings. Google uses these guidelines to train their quality evaluators and refine algorithms to spot real value. Having genuine author bios, verifiable experience, and accurate data protects your site from getting crushed during core updates. :)

I don't think of E-E-A-T as a separate ranking factor that you can optimize overnight. To me, it's more of a way to evaluate the overall quality and credibility of a site.

In practice, things like publishing genuinely useful content, showing real experience, earning relevant mentions, and building trust have all helped my sites. Whether you call that E-E-A-T or just good SEO, those are things I'd focus on anyway.

It’s not like you need to tick E-E-A-T criteria boxes or even get E-E-A-T scores. It is all about providing signals for your website being credible enough. In highly competitive market, experience nd credibility play significant roles.

Good content + real experience beats trying to E.E.A.T alone.
