[NL] OFFSHORE HOSTING - WebHosting - Linux & Windows VPS - 1,5,10 & 20gbps Dedicated Servers, AntiDDoS Protection & more - UP to 35% discount!

Hi everyone,

I’m considering this NL offshore hosting offer and before purchasing I’d like to clarify a few technical details to avoid any limitations after payment.

I’ve had issues in the past with shared hosting (virtualine.net) plans where critical limits (such as inode limits) were not clearly disclosed, which later caused problems with WordPress installations and normal operation.

Could someone from the provider or users with experience please confirm the following:

1. Is there any inode limit on the shared SSD hosting plans?
- If yes, what is the exact inode limit per account?

2. Are there any hidden restrictions affecting WordPress usage (number of files, backups, cache, email files, etc.)?

3. Is disk space separate from inode limits, or can reaching an inode limit block uploads even if disk space is still available?

4. Are there any limits on:
- Number of files per directory
- Cron jobs
- Concurrent processes
- Entry processes

5. Are these limits the same for all shared plans, or do higher plans include higher inode/process limits?

I’m not looking for unlimited resources, just clear and transparent technical limits before making a decision.

Thanks in advance for any clarification.
Kind regards.

Hey Everyone,

Here's my quick review of lyrahosting after using it for a few months (VPS V1 plan upgraded to V2 recently):

This is a very barebones VPS. My site is frequently unresponsive (Cloudflare 522 error), even after upgrading to a bigger plan and not having much traffic. When I asked about this they just say the site is reachable/server is up from our side, so it's my problem.

Also, they don't help you with any issues that are not directly related to the hosting. For example, even though a free control panel (webuzo) is included in the package, I received a "license expired" message and they refused to help, telling me to contact webuzo directly.

I also had issues with not being able to connect the mail to my Outlook account and they also refused to help.

Basically anything extra they refuse to help you. You have to do everything on your own even if the issue is on their side.

I am probably going to switch to a different host unless they can resolve the intermittent website outages.

Update to my above review post: The website outages have been resolved after I purchased a new webuzo control panel license and was finally able to apply it. So website is stable for now. If I have any more issues I will update here.

Can't recommend if you looking for a hoster that is on your side, not your competition's side.

Hello

Well, first of all, thank you for your services. We have been using it for quite some time now :)
My question: Do you allow onion sites to run? And how do you treat possible cases of authorities trying to shut down the sites?

Hi, for your Linux VPS plans, is DDoS protection included by default? Also, do you provide automated off-site backups and free migration from another host?
