this comment is a must in this kind of thread,I don't know why someone would expose himself or why knowing how much I'm making would change anything in a random guy life
focus your energy on picking, studying and improving a business model suitable for your own life or developing a brand, asking people about their personal finance is waste of time

It could also discourage people if they see numbers without context.
For example, someone might make $20–30k in revenue from a single contract, but that number alone won't tell you that the job had $15–20k in expenses, or that it took over five years to land that client.

Why don't you share your earnings then if you're really interested in motivating people.
