Sometimes we get dozens of things done in a single day.
But at the end of the day, we don't think about what we finished. We only think about what we didn't.
A thought pops into our head:
"I should have worked a couple more hours. I could have done more."
And no matter how productive the day was, it still doesn't feel like enough.

Yes i have always the fear that i didn't do well enough that day and i can do more this is something hard to explain and yes what we accomplish is not so important to what we miss to accomplish in a certain time

I'm like that some days for me, honestly
Even when I don't have much planned for the day, I still end up having that unproductive-day feeling

I think the thing is and it's probably like that for so many people as well, that we know how to work hard when it's needed but knowing how to relax is always a big issue

On days that are naturally light and there's not much to do, you end up feeling like you wasted the whole day doing nothing, even if you've done everything that needed to be done, just because the workload isn't as much as on other days

It's a real skill to learn how to have that balance... that would really help prevent constant burnout : )

I used to think that way too, but it usually led to burnout rather than better results. Looking back at what actually got done instead of only focusing on the unfinished tasks makes it much easier to stay consistent over the long run.

Right now Im more relaxed. It doesnt change anything if I beat up myself. Learn from mistakes and go on.
