BHW is Getting Better Again?

I've noticed a big change on BHW over the last week

It feels like a lot of the spammers are gone and the forum looks much cleaner now.
The discussions seem more useful and its easier to find quality posts without scrolling through tons of spam.

Maybe the recent actions by the staff are starting to make a real difference.

Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?

Yes, the spam is gone for good. Mods turned on Bot Hunter mode to get rid of AI bots.

However, the low-effort posts are still an issue. BHW grew selling shovels when SEO gold rush happened. But stopped selling shovels when AI & Reddit gold rush is going on. That's the reason we have declining interest over MMO, IM, and tech posts and growing interest in lounge posts. We need to sell more shovels to retain market leadership during the transition phase.
 
I agree. When the spam is reduced, it’s much easier to discover useful threads and actually participate in discussions. It definitely makes the forum more enjoyable to use.
 
you are right to be honest because even for me i reduced how active i am on the forum
 
we are reporting tens of profiles/comments every day and mods are taking action, they banned tons of profiles and deleted hundreds of comments in the last few days
 
Honestly, it was a bit hard to navigate the site for quite a while. But it has definitely gotten better. Apparently there's some new staff, plus some members have been reporting spam like crazy. That's been helping a lot.
