Im 100% believe that Google intentionally doesn't rank websites hosted on Blogger, while it does rank websites hosted on WordPress or other platforms.

I built many websites on Blogger and WordPress with custom domains, starting back in 2018 when I was a student. Over the years, I've tried again and again, but after more than six or seven years, I've come to believe that Google purposely doesn't rank Blogger websites. Some websites got ranked on Google but they hosted on WordPress

Maybe I'm wrong, but does anyone else feel the same way or have a similar experience?

I done a lot of research, and it seems I'm not completely alone in thinking this. However, Google has never clearly stated that Blogger websites are treated differently. If they did, they know that many people might become frustrated or stop using Blogger.

Has anyone else experienced something similar with Blogger websites?

Tbh my blogger posts were getting indexed fine and then out of nowhere they stopped getting indexed and only discovered but not crawled.

Google hated my hentai posting I guess.

Hentai brooo I am not talking something like that my niche were genral good and best seriously man

The only contact I had with Blogger was when I was 11yo, my dad put me in a generic course about computers, they taught me how to create a website using blogger xD

Apart from that, the only blogger websites I saw were managed by teenagers using it to post poems after their boyfriend/girlfriend cheated on them...nobody takes blogger seriously, very amateur and personal, not for businesses, i don't know if it's fair or not, but it is what it is

Your observation is somehow correct. Rebootonline did a case study showing that bad neighborhood hosting is the real reason for why some websites don't rank on Google.

If you are you using a bad host that also hosts other poor quality websites, then you are likely to get scored low by the bot especially if you don't have high quality backlinks.

Change your hosting today to a dedicated server.

Tip: I learnt this few years ago, you can do a reverse DNS on your domain and find other websites you share same server with.

I think content quality and backlinks matter more than platform. I have seen Blogger sites rank well when they have strong content and consistent SEO.

I do not believe Google is intentionally holding Blogger sites back. I have seen plenty of Blogger websites rank over the years. The biggest difference is that WordPress gives you far more flexibility for SEO, performance, and customization. In most cases, it's the overall quality and optimization of the site not the platform itself that has the biggest impact on rankings.

No that's not true google doesn't care if it's blogger or wordpress it ranks based on content quality, backlinks & site authority not the platform

I can't say nothing about blogger, because i personally never used... but all in all, google really cares about content quality, internal liking and backlink profile. If you got'em all, eventually you'll appear
