There's nothing wrong with that approach. It usually takes longer, but it's more sustainable if you're building a real business. I still think quality backlinks matter, but starting with solid content and a strong site structure gives those links a much better chance of making an impact.

Yes, it is still realistic but it definitely requires a lot more patience now. Pure white hat strategies work best when you focus heavily on digital PR, primary data, and topical authority rather than just standard blog posts. It takes longer to see momentum, but the long-term stability and safety from algorithm updates make the effort worth it.
