For me, it's still all about search intent. I first male sure tyhe content answers what people are actually looking for. Then I add a dew relevant, quality backlinks instead of trying to build hundreds of random ones. I also update old articles every few months. It's a simple habit, but I have seen it help rankings more than chasing every new SEO trend.
Topical authority beats random link building every time.

What still works is common sense seo. Even when google has changed so much criteria for ranking, the basics have not changed. Like relevant good back links still provide value and help in ranking.

The other tool that I keep on using is to refresh my content based on the queries that the page ranks for, and not just to post new articles. Pages will rank for queries that we do not expect at all, and optimising these weak spots gives us more value than focusing on new keyword opportiunities.

what has always proved succesful for me is to work on updating my old content rather than always hunting for new keywords. this involves updating old data nd buillding links internally along with making sure that the page caters completely to the search query of the user. this is not the latest SEO trick but it has contiinued working all this while.

One of the things that I have stuck to is first analysing what already exists and then making something new. Learning about the pages that are ranking, figuring out why people chosse those pages, and then working on closing the gaps has always proven more usefull to me than following all the latest SEO trends.
a method that has always proved to be effective is to enhance the experience of using the existing pages. it can be achieved by such methods as simpliffying content, optimizing navigation, including ilustrative examples nd providing more relevant content in relation to the search intention of the visitor. the trend in SEO may vary but usabillity always works.
