Dude taking Sam Altman's word at face value is in itself something else but singularity isn't something that'll be hidden if and when it's reached.

That's my 2 cents

Altman is just hyping things up to keep the VC money flowing. Even if some form of AGI happens, search engines still need to show ads and people still need to buy stuff... we will just pivot like we always do. @eerdeshi is right anyway, you cant really hide that kind of tech once it actually lands. Just focus on what works today.
