I notice my ROAS doubled when I turned on my ads at 8:30AM rather than leaving them on all night. Thoughts?

maybe ur audience more active morning time thats why roas better try test diff hours or days to see if pattern hold steady before scaling hard

Depends of the product, when Im in testing phase, I always schedule the campaigns for the morning, but if the campaign profitable, I let it run at night as well.

Not surprising early morning traffic (8–11AM) tends to be fresh, higher intent, and less competition.

Less ad fatigue
Better placements
Users more likely to take action (esp. on mobile)

Leaving ads on overnight burns budget on low-quality traffic. Time-based scheduling + strong morning windows = solid move. Always test, but this pattern’s common across many niches.

Starting ads at 8:30AM means your budget kicks in when higher-quality users are active. Overnight traffic is usually cheaper but low intent. Morning launch = better early conversions → Meta optimizes better for the rest of the day. Try ad scheduling 8:30AM–10PM and see if results stay consistent.

Yeah we sometimes do that depending on the niche. Especially for e-commerce related products. Even replica, etc..

After 8:30 AM, users start to be more active online, interact more, leading to higher conversion rates. Morning time slots may be more expensive but are more effective, leading to better ROAS.

Totally agree. I plan to follow this strategy for my Google Ads campaigns.

Yes, it is possible that turning on your ads at 8:30AM could have increased your ROAS. Sometimes showing ads during peak hours can lead to better results. Keep monitoring your ads to see if this trend continues. Good luck with your advertising!

Makes sense — mornings usually have higher engagement. Overnight traffic can be low quality. Smart move to test dayparting

Turning ads on at 8:30AM likely aligns better with your audience's active hours, improving performance. Running ads overnight may waste budget on low-converting traffic.

It's great that you're testing different timings for your ads! Keep experimenting and analyzing the data to see what works best for your audience. Consistent testing and optimization will help you maximize your ROAS in the long run.

Conduct your own test. Maybe for my brand it works, but maybe for your brand, it's a bad decision. The best approach is really test yourself to see if it bring better or worse results for your specific case.

yes, that can happen because different times can give different results and also keep testing your ad schedule and use the time that works bestest for you.

pull your hourly performance data in the ad account and you’ll probably see a clear pattern of when your best ROAS windows are.

I’ve seen the same thing happen, depends a lot on the audience and niche. Night traffic can burn budget with low intent clicks. I usually check hourly data first and cut the dead hours instead of blindly running 24/7.
