AdSense vs Other Monetization Methods — What Works Better?

Hi members,
I am currently using AdSense, but I am exploring other monetization options.
For websites with decent traffic, what has worked better for you AdSense, affiliate marketing, or other networks?

Affiliate marketing work better. Check out clickbank marketplace. You can have both at the sametime bytheway.
 
Add affiliate marketing links inside your product review posts. Recommending useful products makes much more money per click than banner ads.

Affiliate marketing almost always outearns AdSense at every traffic level one well-placed affiliate link can make more than thousands of ad impressions. Switch at least some of your content to buying-intent articles and the income difference will be immediate.
 
i think it depends on the website of niche adsense is simple but affiliate marketing can earn more if you have the right audience and products because testing different options is the best way to choose.
 
Depends on the niche honestly. AdSense is easy and stable, but affiliate usually beats it if you have buyer intent traffic. I’ve seen sites make way more with a few good affiliate offers than tons of AdSense clicks. Test both and see what your audience responds to.

AdSense is easy and safe but the earnings are usually low, especially if your traffic is not from high-paying countries.

Affiliate marketing can make more money if you have the right offers and good conversion, but it takes more work. You need to match the offers with your target audience properly.

Other advertisement networks (like Mediavine, Raptive, or some with the higher CPM ones) can pay better than AdSense once you reach their requirements. But most of them first need higher traffic.

For most people with decent traffic, a mix works best:
- AdSense or another ad network for passive income
- Affiliate offers on the side for higher earnings

Pure AdSense alone rarely gives big money unless the traffic is really high and from good geos.

What kind of site do you have and roughly how much traffic are you getting?

yeah adsense is basically pocket change these days unless you have millions of pageviews. @DiegoRojas if your traffic is mostly tier 1, try to get into mediavine or raptive, the rpms are night and day compared to google. for the info posts where affiliate links dont fit, premium display networks are the way to go. then just run high paying affiliate offers on your commercial pages. combining them is the play but standard adsense is just wasting prime real estate imo
