Hello,

is there any way to turn one, or multiple eSIMs into an rotating mobile proxy for a specific country?
Let's say I want to get sweden/turkey or german mobile proxies and have the possibility to put some setup in any cheap country, would I get one IP from the coutnry where setup is located, or one IP from the provider?

When I would make the IP rotating, I could live well off with just one eSIM with unlimited data. What is the catch?

It’s dont really think it is like that. The IP comes from the carrier, not your setup location, and eSIMs don’t just turn into proper rotating mobile proxies. That’s why people usually just go with providers instead.

The IP comes from the carrier, not the box location, but the bigger catch is reconnect control. One eSIM gives you one carrier pattern, not a real rotating pool.

If you use roaming eSIM then you'll get the IP from the carrier, not the location. Just make sure your data package support roaming on the location your server is.

It is a nice thing in theory, but in practice it varies a lot.

Main problems: unpredictable rotation IP pool size (down to too small for rotation-based work), unpredictable rotation rules (up to no rotation), hard throttling, hard pricing. You gotta check manually, no reliable way to look this up in advance.

In our own data, roaming-SIM setups like this are literally a few, I suspect that’s not by accident.

I'd also consider the carrier's fair-use policy. Unlimited data doesn't always mean unlimited proxy usage. Some operators start throttling or changing network behavior after sustained traffic, which can make the setup unreliable for long-term use.

Roaming eSIM can help with the country side, but it still does not give you a real rotating pool. You are still riding one carrier pattern until you add more lines or real reconnect control.

Best place to get an eSIM, please?
