Testing Reddit's New Filters Together.

Lately it feels like almost everyone doing any kind of promotion on Reddit is running into the same problems: comments getting silently removed, posts disappearing, and accounts getting shadow banned. Why don't we work together and use this thread to test different methods? Whenever someone tries something new, just post an update on whether it worked, the comment was removed, or the account got shadow banned. This way we can avoid wasting time repeating methods that no longer work. I'll start today with a new test and update this thread with the results. Recently I noticed that mentioning my brand name in a comment, even without a link, gets the comment removed and eventually leads to a shadow ban.

My next test is different. I have old comments on aged accounts that already mention my brand. Instead of mentioning it again, I'll naturally engage in discussions and share a link to one of those old comments so anyone interested can find the brand there. I think it can work since it's an internal link and not external. The conversion rate will probably be lower, but if it avoids Reddit's filters, it might be worth it.

My next test will be trying more white hat niches to check if they are only monitoring black hat ones or if it's general and we are totally cooked

There is an advantage of owning a subreddit. Your posts stay up, can be pinned and more.

I was thinking about buying a subreddit, but I assume you need to have a strong aged account for that

I think Reddit is evaluating account behavior much more than individual posts now.

I got that quite often after I got temp banned.

Seems they lower your trust for a while but now it's fine for me.

I've tried white niche and seems to be fine. No comment was deleted or anything.

That's true, but it's way cheaper to find a solution than paying $$$ for a simple post.

Yep. I think you can use the r/WhatIsMyCQS to see your score on reddit. But the problem is even with high score the comment is removed immediately.

I just checked an account I was trying to warm up. I was literally only commenting in the photography niche, and it's already shadow banned. LOL

Would be interesting to compare account age, karma, and subreddit too. Maybe there's a pattern

I think Reddit is much stricter now because of spam. Even normal comments can get removed if they look promotional. I try to focus on real discussions first.
