Lately I've been seeing better results from high authority guest posts and aged niche edits. Spammy links don't move the needle like they used to. A handful of solid editorial backlinks has worked much better for long-term rankings.

I focus more on editorial links and natural mentions now. They look more natural and usually bring better value.

Relevant guest posts on trusted websites still work well when they are natural and useful. I also focus on earning editorial links and building strong internal links instead of chasing large numbers of backlinks.

I am focusing more on quality pages instead of high authority numbers. A relevant backlink from a small website can also perform well.

I think alot of people get burned by guest posting because they treat it like a number game just gets as many links as possible regardless of where . But google gotten pretty good at figuring out when a guest post is just there for a link vs when it add values to that site.
