Where do you buy quality expired domains for PBNs?

I'm trying to learn more about building a small PBN, but the biggest challenge I'm running into is finding good expired domains.

I've looked at a few marketplaces, but many domains seem either overpriced or have questionable backlink profiles.

Where do you usually buy your domains?

• Do you use ExpiredDomains.net and backorder them yourself?
• Do you buy from GoDaddy Auctions, NameJet, DropCatch, or somewhere else?
• Are there any trusted marketplaces for quality aged domains?
• How do you check if a domain is actually worth buying before spending money?

I'd really appreciate hearing where experienced SEOs source their domains these days.

ExpiredDomains.net is still a good starting point, but don't buy based on metrics alone. I usually check archive history, backlink relevance, anchor text profile, and whether the domain was previously spammed before considering a purchase.

For sourcing, GoDaddy Auctions, DropCatch, and NameJet are the most common options. The real value comes from finding clean domains with relevant backlinks, not just high DR or DA numbers.

A simple rule: if the backlink profile looks unnatural, full of spam anchors, or the domain changed niches multiple times, skip it and move on. A mediocre clean domain is often better than a powerful-looking spammed one.

Also, check the forum's search function. This subject has been posted about numerous times in the past few weeks.

I use expireddomains.net to find domains, then buy through godaddy Auctions or dropcatch. I always check backlinks, archive history, and spam before buying. Clean history matters most.

I usually focus on domain history backlink quality and relevance interested to see where others are finding reliable domains these days

It doesn't matter where you buy a domain or which auction you use what matters is keeping an eye on its specs. For me, the most valuable factors are age and niche relevance. Domains that have hosted an active site for a long time are especially good, especially when you can quickly restore them from the web archive

I use spamzilla to buy expired domains. Domain themselves are free to buy other then the registration fees, there is no extra cost to it. Most expired domain sellers use a spamzilla or similar tool to find them so why not go straight to the source.

domcop I am using past 10 years. But keep in mind nearly expire domain not working like before.
