A lead database loses value over time as people change jobs, companies close, and contact details become outdated. Even a well-built list can see a noticeable drop in accuracy if it's never maintained.

Wait, people actually clean or update those? Never heard of that honestly. Either you buy a fresh list / scrape a new one, or you trash the old one or option three, you mix both A and B)

i try to go through my database every few months especially before starting a new outreach campaign. even cuting down on a small number of stale contacts can impprove response rates nd save a lot of time. any day give me a smaller more accurate list over a big liist of dead leads.

A smaler clean database usually beat a huge outdated one. I prefer refreshing before major campaign nd removing dead contacts regularly, since list quality directly affect outreach result.

I do a quick cleanup every month and a full refresh every 3–6 months, honestly, i keep thinking fresh data still wins out over some big old list that is already dated. Every time i swap in the new info it feels more responsive, like it just performs better.

Review your lead database once a month. And remove inactive websites, update contact information, and add new opportunities that found through outreach or Google searches.

for me its less about accuracy n more about deliverability, sending to a bunch of dead/bounced emails tanks ur sender reputation fast n then even ur good leads start landin in spam. so i refresh quaterly but also do a quick bounce check b4 any big send, learned that one the hard way after a campaign flopped for reasons that had nothin to do with the pitch itself
