What industries response best to LinkedIn outreach?

Everyone always says SaaS and marketing agencies but those guys get spammed to death... if you pitch a SaaS founder you are competing with fifty other people in their inbox. imo you get way better response rates targeting traditional B2B niches like logistics, commercial cleaning, or manufacturing. they actually use the platform but their inboxes arent completely ruined yet. it mostly comes down to how noisy their inbox already is. if your offer is good, even saturated niches can work but traditional b2b is much easier to start with.

Industries where decision makers are active on linkedin tend to response better like SaaS, marketing, consulting and B2B services. Cold outreach works better there when it is personalized and relevant to their role rather than generic messaging.

In my opinion, the Marketing & Advertising industry tends to receive some of the highest levels of engagement on LinkedIn.

If someone is on LinkedIn from an industry that's poorly represented there, like manufacturing, they're more likely to be there for a reason and less likely to be averse to chatting and maybe buying something from you. Every SaaS drone is required to be on LinkedIn and we all hate it, so we're less likely to respond. But there are more of us.

in my opinion industries that actively seek partnershiips or new customers will react positively the most often. i have had success with software businesses, agencies nd consulting firms. regardless of the industry a message that is relevant nd displays some knowlledge will receive a much better response than generric messages.

B2B SaaS like everyone else has said. But also, from experience with more legacy industries and some parts of the defense and SLED worlds, there's a smaller percent of people on LinkedIn but the people who are there tend to be more likely to respond.
Maybe that's because they're social butterflies? Who really knows. Possibly they're not as inundated with random outreach like SaaS people tend to be. Anyway, it means that even if targets aren't common in your industry on LI, it can still be worthwhile to try reaching out.

B2B services, software as a service, recruitment, consultancy, and marketing can make excellent targets since the people that need to decide are already on LinkedIn.
The niche will matter more than the sector, in my opinion. I would try a few niches with different pitches and see who responds.

the performance of different niches on LinkedIn can be extremely different which means that I will not focus on one industry right away.Experiment with several industries and check out how many responses you get to evaluate the effectiveness of your communication. the most promising niches include SaaS IT,recruiting,and consulting,but proper targeting is even more important.
