I'm using AI-assisted contened on my new site, its read wel but gets detected. does AI detection actually affect SEO or ranking?

It does affect and some times leads to sandboxing
You should find a way to keep it real and fresh

No, zero impact. Google doesn't use third-party AI detectors, and those detector scores have no influence on your rankings whatsoever.

Google evaluates helpfulness, quality, and search intent

AI detecting itself is not a ranking factor, but the value of the information, accuracy, quality/originality and relevance to the search are.

I always edit the AI content and add my own insights before publishing.

Have you compared the rankings of AI-assisted content with manually edited ones on the same site?

AI detection scores alone are not useful SEO target. I'd focus on whether the article is accurate, original, genuinely helpful, and edited by someone who understands the topic. If AI assisted the draft, like, add firsthand examples, verify every claim, remove generic filler, and make sure the page serves a clear search intent.

AI detection score does not matter. It is the quality, the novelty nd the experience that do matter. AI generated work can get the job done, but one should alway add something original and unique to it.

I do not think AI detection scores matters more for SEO more important thing is whether the content is useful accurate, and helpful for readers.

i have noticed many AI assisted articles rank bcuzz they address users queries well. However what happens is not that the AI was used but rather that the writing was perceived as generic, unoriginal or even lackking experttise. my preference would be to use AI for the research nd organization then put my own touch into it.

Using AI to help write some content, and some pages get detected as AI. But I have not seen that hurt my rankings. If the content is useful, easy to read, and gives good information, it can still rank well. I think quality is more important than AI detection.

AI content can rank well if it's original, accurate, and genuinely helpful to users.
SEO success depends on quality, search intent, and optimization—not whether the content was written by AI or humans.

If you don't do lazy work, some of your content can still rank for sure.

I have had some of mine rank well before but it's just not often... You can't tell which blog would rank and which wouldn't. I didn't even really do much and was still able to get some to rank

I was posting at least one meaningful blog daily back then and taking the time to edit and optimize the output... not just copy and dump it and expect a miracle

From What I've seen, AI detection scores don't matter by themselves. If the content is useful, Accurate, and satisfies the search intent, That's what usually has a bigger impact on ranking's.

AI detectors are not a ranking factor in their own right. Google values the utility, originality, accuracy, and general value of the content more.
The problem with AI-written content arises when it's generic, lacks experience, or doesn't fulfill the user's intent. Let AI be your assistant and then bring in your insights, examples, and editing skills.

N0, detection tools don't affect rankings Google doesn't use those to penalize you. What actually matters is whether the content is useful and doesn't read like generic fluff. If it's AI written but you've added your own examples, opinions, or details, it'll rank just fine.

We can use ai assist for adding points to the content but you need to do some manual stuff and use tools to detect ai presence on content afterwards do some plagiarism check it will help to get unique

I think AI is a great tool for research and creating a first draft, but I would not publish the output without editing it. Adding real experience, examples, and unique insights makes a big difference. In my experience, AI works best when it supports the writing process instead of replacing it completely.

Google prefers actual experience and this can't be solely generated from AI. Human touch is always at top, you can use ai to make it more engaging.

I think people worry too much about AI detection. if visitors stay on the page and find the content useful, that is matters more.
