Looking for Historical Moroccan Stock Market Index Data (20+ Years)

Hello everyone,

I am currently working on a master's research project and I'm looking for 20 years of historical data for the main Moroccan stock market indices, including:

• MASI (Moroccan All Shares Index)
• MASI 20
• FTSE CSE Morocco 15
• FTSE CSE Morocco All-Liquid
• Any other major Casablanca Stock Exchange indices

Ideally, I need the data in Excel (.xlsx or .csv) format, including daily or monthly historical values.

Any guidance or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

You can try the casablanca stock exchange data first. If thats limited, financial platforms like bloomberg or refinitiv may have the full history.

Start with the Casablanca Stock Exchange's "Index History" section, which lets you download official MASI historical data. Investing.com also provides downloadable daily, weekly, and monthly data for MASI and MASI 20, though you should verify it against the official exchange before using it academically.

The FTSE CSE Morocco indices may be harder to obtain for 20 years because FTSE Russell generally distributes detailed historical datasets through licensed services or authorized vendors. Contact FTSE Russell/LSEG and explain that it's for a master's thesis, I think they may offer academic access.
