Should I link case studies?

I recently started a web design studio with couple collegues and we have finished 4 projects so far.

We just launched the studio's site on a new domain and we was wondering wether should we link to the sites we have already finished or not.

Considering it is a new domain, I guess we might be "diluting" the few authority we've got. But I do not want to just have some screenshots of the sites.

Whats the cost of having a link on each case study? Does nofollow actually help here?

Guess we are not getting flagged as a link farm as we hae got enough context on each case study URL and we DONT mention in any of the project domains nothing about our studio, nor got a link towards us.

I'd link to the live projects. A few relevant portfolio links won't hurt your SEO, and they build more trust than screenshots alone. No need for nofollow unless there's a specific reason.

i would suggest linking the projects as this is going to be more convincing nd will improve the credibility of ur portffolio. a few links through legitimate case studies will not harm ur credibility. what is important is making each page informative with information on the project not just linkking it.
 
I would definitely link to the live websites you have created. Including real project links in your portfolio is a natural and expected practice, and a few relevant outbound links will not hurt your site's authority. There's no need to add nofollow unless the links are sponsored or paid. Focus on creating detailed case studies that highlight your process, the challenges you solved, and the results you achieved, as that provides the most value for both visitors and search engines.

Yes, if the case study is relevant and genuinely supports the point you are making. I think real examples help build trust and give readers something practical to learn from. I just avoid adding links that feel forced or promotional.
 
Case studies helps a lot, not only to show what you already made, but also it might enlighten a potential buyer that might have a project and still don't know how to properly structure it
 
from a link building pov few outbound links to ur own case studies wont dilute anything meaningful, that "diluting authority" worry is way overblown for handful of relevant contextual links, google cares more about relevance n quality than raw outbound count. skip nofollow here since these r genuine editorial links not paid/sponsored, adding nofollow just to "save" link equity on a portfolio site is unnecessary paranoia tbh. bigger priority is making sure each case study page actually has substance (process, results, numbers) not just a link dump, thats what builds trust for potential clients browsing ur portfolio anyway
 
I'd link to the live projects because visitors will want proof that the studio's work is real. Four relevant portfolio links with proper context will not make the site look like a link farm. No follow is not necessary just to conserve authority, you know, though you should get client permission and avoid exposing private details. Add a short explanation of the problem, your work, and the result so each case study offers more than a screenshot.

I'd link to the live projects. Real Portfolio examples build trust, and a handfull of relevant outbound links won't dilute your SEO. Focus on quality case studies rather than avoiding links.
 
Link them, make them open in a new tab. use no follow attribute if there's a reason to.
 
I would put live projects. Some relevant outbound links in portfolio case studies won't be bad for your website and would increase its credibility. I would usen ofollow only in case it is a paid placement or you do not fully trust the destination

Yes, I'd link them. Relevant outbound links to your own case studies won't hurt your site, they actually improve trust and user experience
 
Link to the live case studies; don't rely on screenshots alone - it's stronger proof of work and helps credibility (and E-E-A-T) more than it "dilutes" anything.

The old link dilution worry doesn't really apply to a handful of relevant outbound links, especially on a new site with little authority to lose yet. And no need for nofollow here - these are genuine case studies, not paid/sponsored links, so do-follow is the more honest signal.

You're not at link farm risk either since it's one-way, contextual, and there's no reciprocal linking back to you. The only real thing to watch is if any of those client sites later get penalized or deindexed, but that's unrelated to the do-follow/nofollow question.
 
Yes you should link them there's no real dilution risk & it adds credibility just keep links relevant, limited & use no-follow only if you are being overly cautions
