While some people give best times to post on Instagram, it has been very hit or miss for me.

Sometimes I am posting at the best time and nothing is happening. And sometimes I am posting at the worst time and I get a decent amount of engagement.
Do people still post at certain times of the day or do you just post when you have something to share?

i still try to post when my audience is most active but i do not stress too much about the exact time anymore. i have seen posts do well at bad times nd flop at the perfect times. It is been much more about content quallity nd consisteency than chasing the perffect posting hour for me.

In my opinion, timing is better for those who already have a gud audience, but it is not going to help with the poor quality of writing. generally speaking, I look for some trend in my insight nd focus on writing good posts.

Same here. Some of my best posts went live at random times, and some posted at the "perfect" hour completely flopped.

Posting at the right time is a good way to gain reach and followers, but I don't know what exactly you're posting and you have such terrible results when you post on the best time. Maybe it's a content mismatch...

for me i just go with when i feel like i have something to ask or curious about something, i dont wait for the best time or being calculative

You have knowledge about your target audience and country. Find there peak time of Instagram usage and post at that time.

Just a little bit. Nowadays, I just look at the peak time at my analytic page.

I used to overthink posting times too, but the impact was smaller than I expected. Consistently posting good content made a much bigger difference than chasing the ‘perfect’ hour. Timing helps, but it won’t save weak content.

But i believe that the specific posting time would be better utilised as a variable to test than an obsession. Since the post itself is capable of stopping the people and making them interact with it, it may still move successfullyy beyond the regular peak times. But i would do some tests with various posting times within two weeks.

if your content is 'alright' then it indeed works best to post in your followers/audience timezone. if you're about to post a banger, something that could really potentially reach a lot of traffic, then it doesn't matter what time you post

Check your own page analytics instead of generic internet advice. Your specific followers have unique active hours that differ from standard rules.

the time u choose to post is not as important as what people say it is. Uhh might be able to get ur posts some initial exposure but it will not compensate for the fact that they do not resonate with the viewers. i have noticed that it is better to know what time ur particular followers r online rather than follow uniiversal guidelines.

I don't worry too much about the specific psting time. I belive in consistency and good content have a much bigger impact, while posting times only make a small diffference.

Posting on a specific time most times is to target a certain geo-location because there is a certain time that a large number of people are online from that location.

It would be better if you were to take your posting schedule as guidelines instead of rules. The engagement of your audience and the quality of your content is much more important, therefore try different times and see what works best.

Content matters more than timing ı post when its ready and let the engagement decide.

I used to focus a lot on posting times too but the results were never consistent anymore I still try to post when my audience is usually active but I think content quality and consistency have a much bigger impact than finding the perfect time

I think timing can help but it is not the biggest factor anymore content quality consistency and how people engage with the post seem to matter more i usually focus on creating something valuable rather than chasing the perfect posting time
