I read somewhere, amazon's algo looks at if someone searches for a keyword and then buys a product, it locks in a good buy intent signal for that keyword -> that product. I have a 20 iPhone farm I built, im currently warming up accs by scrolling etc, if I just slowly buy my own product after finding it from my own keyword search, will this help me rank?

Yes, it’ll definitely help you rank. People have been manipulating searches through botnets for a while, it’s effective if done right.

is simply searching and browsing enough or will I have to purchase?

Yes, there are methods that can help accelerate product rankings and visibility. When combined with a well-executed organic SEO strategy, the results can be exceptional, driving stronger keyword rankings, increased visibility, and sustainable sales growth.

I would not rely on that. Amazon will be able to trace any patterns between the accounts/devices and manipulations may come back to haunt you; a single genuine sale will have much more value compared to an attempt to create any signals.

This approach is definitely not advisable as there will be many more data points for Amazon based on their transactions rather than simply keyword clicks and purchase. The purchases made using device/account farm is unnatural as well.

That's a valid concern. However, my approach is focused on attracting genuine customers and driving real purchases rather than relying on artificial signals. The goal is to improve visibility through targeted marketing and organic SEO, which helps generate authentic sales and sustainable ranking growth over time.

No, I would not depend on that. The ranking indicators used by Amazon are too broad compared to a few simulated buys and artificial buying can actually make you get into trouble for your account and products

I understand your point. However, my strategy does not rely on device farms or artificial purchasing patterns. The focus is on driving real customer traffic and generating genuine purchases through organic SEO, targeted visibility, and conversion optimization. In the long run, authentic customer behavior creates much stronger and more sustainable ranking signals than any form of manipulation.

Amazon may use search-to-purchase behavior as one of many ranking signals. Buying your own product through multiple accounts can be treated as manipulation. If Amazon detects it, those signals may be ignored or reversed. It can also lead to listing or account penalties. Real customer purchases are the safest way to improve rankings over time.

It may create a small signal, but it usually won't improve rankings for long.Amazon tracks many factors, not just keyword searches and purchases.Repeated self-purchases can look unnatural and may be detected. That can lead to lower rankings or account penalties.Real customer sales are the safest and most effective way to rank.

Amazon uses search, clicks, and purchases as ranking signals, but self-made purchases are unlikely to create lasting benefits. These activities can be detected as unnatural behavior and may put accounts at risk. Real customer sales and strong conversions are the signals that matter most for long-term ranking.

I Would not realy on that strategy, Marketplaces are pretty good at spotting unnatural buying patterns, and any short term gain can disappear if the account's or listings get flagged.

Although Amazon uses search to purchase signals, using false orders from your own accounts is dangerous and rarely helps build any kind of sustainable ranking boost.
It would be better to concentrate on converting real customers, improving listings, acquiring reviews, and gathering information from PPC campaigns.

amazon ranking is driven by real customer behaviour, not just self-orders. Search relevance, CTR, conversions, reviews, nd sale velocity from genuine buyer matter more for long-term growth.
