I started a adult niche site a week ago, I think you have the right approach, I started a subreddit on reddit yesterday but jeez its a lot of work to make a gif of the girl and then link it in etc, although i think it might be worthwhile uploading the gif to your website and then linking that so they can click right through. I tried to find a wordpress plugin that simplifies this process but it doesnt seem to exist.
Im only getting about 50 visits a day to my site and im using juicyads just to try and get some traffic through, most of my time is spent importing videos, tagging pornstars and writing unique descriptions, optimizing SEO traffic to the site. I am hoping that I will find some success with google search traffic sooner or later. The keywords for my niche are not competitive and I have not loaded many ads on my site yet.
