Hey running my first few ads on TikTok.
I got it approved, and all is green.

It says active, and I deployed everything properly.
How long until I start to see traffic?

As it's not spending any money?

Oh just realized, it says "pending scheduled" under ad group.
Does that mean my ad passed the test already? and I'm just scheduled to go?

Want to make sure it's already passed the check.

TikTok ads usually start delivering traffic within 1 to 4 hours post approval, but if you see zero impressions after 24 hours, you should review your bid strategy, audience sizing, and budget pacing.

Usually it starts within a few hours, but sometimes it can take up to 24 hours. If it's still not spending after that, double check your targeting and budget.

Of course it depends on the specific campaiign but normally u will not see consistent traffic right after approval. the Tik Tok platform tends to take some time to check out the ad perfformance among various target groups nd optimize delivery. i would give it some time nd analyze the numbers instead of making an opinion based solely on the first few hours of testting.

It's pretty normal for new campaigns to take a little while before spending. TikTok usually needs some time to enter the learning phase, and it can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours before impressions start coming in.
If it's still not spending after 24 hours, I'd doublecheck your bid, audience size, budget, and campaign settings.

If everything's approved, I'd give it a few hours before worrying.
Most campaigns start delivering fairly quickly, but some can take up to 24 hours while the system finishes learning and optimizing.

In case the ad is relatively "Safe" in terms of, nothing is tipping the edge between flagging the TOS, then it should get approved within 2-3 hours. In case it is "tipping the edge", then it gets sent for review and might take a bit (24-36 hours to get approved).

it usually only takse 2-4 hrs, if its taking longer than 24hrs i would look for deeper issues

If your content does not violate policies, it will take 30 minutes to an hour for the ad to start spending; if it does violate policies, an error will be reported and no spending will occur.

Is it a fresh account? New accounts get limited initially so give it 24/48 hours before assuming something is wrong. Make sure your daily budget isn’t set too low since TikTok needs enough room to enter auctions.

make sure you don't have any sort of spending cap per day set up and because if there is a cap then it won't spend any money

make sure there is money in your account of course and make sure the audience that you have selected is not super super narrow and small audience

make sure there is enough people in that audience size so the algorithm can actually find people in your target audience.
